2003 Mobiles & Works on Paper
 During the year 2003, I conceived and realized a series of 12 abstract, room-sized mobiles.
The shapes were loosely based on landscapes, figure drawings elements, and still lifes. But
totally abstract. Each mobile began with a pencil sketch, and all were painted with the same
color pallette.
Works on paper: I was pleased with the collection, but wanted something illustrative to
complement the mobiles. What if they were frozen, flattened and placed on paper? Bringing each
over to the computer, I used each as a "model" and drew the mobile shapes, then arranged them
in a frame and created an image that could be printed. The 32" X 40" edition is limited to 12
examples each.
The mobiles are unique, one-of-a-kind; when sold I will note them as such on the site. The
prints are printed on Hahnemuhle etching 310 gm/m paper using Epson archival pigmented inks.
